Several changes to Camp PLAY for Summer 2010

Camp PLAY is in its second year, and for those of you returning from last year, there have been a few changes. We had such an amazing time last summer with your children, and we hope to share another summer of fun again. We will still be using the dance studio for some of our favorite activities, including yoga, scarves, balance beam, dancing, and more. Many of our excellent staff will be returning and can't wait to have some fun with your kids! We will also be adding water games one day each week, in addition to the pool. We will still have PE style games each day on Cannan Green or in Doremus Gym. There will be a daily snack provided by Camp PLAY during our "learning" time where we will focus on making healthy choices, positive influences, fitness, our bodies, nutrition, and games. We are working with FAIR again, so if your child plans to attend both, we will see to it that your child makes the connection between the two programs. A few things have changed for this summer:
  1. We are now accepting applications for ages 4-11. The 4 year olds will have extra staffing and will focus more on learning to move the body, developing coordination and cooperation.
  2. Campers (and parents) will have the option of attending one, two, or three weeks of camp. Weeks do not need to be consecutive.
  3. Lunch will be provided for those attending FAIR, otherwise you will need to plan to arrive to PLAY ready to get moving (and full)!
  4. There have been some changes to the registration process. Multiple child family discount is $15/week for each child after the first full payment. A non-refundable tuition payment of 50% is due at the time of registration.

We continue to work to improve what Camp PLAY offers. We truly believe in what we represent and hope that you do to. Please spread the word about your experiences with us!
